The Original Model Base
Our hand turned model bases have been added to our range of products due to customer demand. The Original model base features a classic "Ogee" moulding to the bottom, and an upstand. Bases are available with different heights and diameters. Currently only available in Sapele or Oak, as a stock item, and in other timbers listed below to order, usually ready to dispatch in a few days. Do please ask if any other timber is required, we will try our best to help.
The size of bases relates to the top flat diameter and the total height. All bases are beautifully finished with a clear satin lacquer. A self-adhesive felt disc is provided with each model stand (also sold separately). Please scroll to the bottom of this page for "model bust" bases, these can also be used as a model base.
